Mohit and Feroze Gujral, son and daughter-in-law of famed Indian Modern Artist- Satish Gujral, set up the non-profit trust initiated in 2008. Mohit Gujral is a leading Indian architect and sits on the executive board of India’s largest real estate development company. Feroze Gujral, entrepreneur and media personality, is on the advisory board of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale and IGNCA among other cultural organisations.


For the past few years, the foundation has fostered an astonishing array of activities, artist commissions, public outreach programs and drawn together ideas and energies seeding many compelling projects primary of which are the Kochi Muziris Biennale & a collateral events project “My East is your West” at the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015


The Gujral Foundation is focused on contemporary cultural engagements with art, design & architecture and performing arts as its primary initiative. It is this dedication with inspiring & trusted partnerships that enables us to steadily expand our reach & realize our ambition to engage with challenging contemporary art & cultural expressions.



Since 2011, the foundation began its participation as a mediator in the development of art and culture by organizing and promoting various programs. The foundation has supported Save the Children, Teach for India, Malnutrition, WWF through independent funding.
