The Gujral Foundation was delighted to support Future Collective which was held at Bikaner House, New Delhi on 29 Feb & 1 March 2020 from 11am to 10pm. Future Collective was a fair that focused on sustainability and innovation which brought together the pioneers of sustainable design under one roof.
The aim of Future Collective was to shape our culture in an informed, ethical and responsible way. Future Collective brought together like-minded artists, designers, brands and individuals to shape a new “conscious-culture. The founding team of Vidyun Singh, Asha Kochhar, and Roma Narsinghani have worked in the fields of fashion and culture for over 30 years.
Future Collective brought forth an eco-conscious contemporary experience from some of the finest creative minds who are designing the future. The fair showcased some of the leading sustainable fashion brands & designers including Abraham and Thakore, Nicobar, Nimai, Péro, Ka-Sha, and 11.11 to name a few.
Visitors had fun experiences in the realms of Architecture, Art, Fashion, Furniture, Solar energy, Sari Swaps, Food, Films, Recycling, Electric vehicles and waste management. The fair also had workshops, conversations, panel discussions which will revolve around topics such as circular fashion, inclusivity and textile technology; as well as soulful music performances by contemporary indie artists.
